Steel framed membrane buildings combine the benefits of pre-engineered steel with a bright, shadow-free, cool, and quiet interior environment. Bright because the translucent cover lets in natural sunlight; cool because the cover does not transmit heat into the building like steel; quiet because the membrane cover dampens sound rather than echoing. Both the all-galvanized framing and the translucent cover are corrosion resistant so these buildings are suitable for corrosive settings such as chemical processing or storage, or water and sewage treatment.
